    Annecy has considerably improved its accessibility.

    The road Network

    Already well served by the motorway A43 Annecy has also got since 2008 a new motorway access from Geneva.

    This ambitious equipment programme of A41 allows a direct link between the Annecy basin and Geneva and improves its motorway access from the north and Paris.

    Moreover Annecy is only 1 hour 15mns from Lyon and 45mns from Grenoble.

    The Railway Equipments

    Numerous high speed Trains link Annecy to Paris, taking from 3h50 to 4h15.

    From Lyon you can also take a high speed train (1h30).

    Geneva: From the 25th of December 2008 it will only take 20mns by motorway to go from Geneva airport to Annecy. This international airport offers all the links with the big European capitals and towns. The international airport of Geneva has got a “France sector” which allows foreign people with a Schengen visa to land or take off without going through Switzerland so without requiring a Swiss visa.

    A taxi can be booked on request from the airport to drive you to the Splendid hotel.

    Lyon: Today one of the most important hubs in France, the aiport of LYON St Exupery, offers regular flights towards all the regional French capitals. It also has a high speed Train station with a direct link to Annecy.

    Annecy: Mostly devoted to leisure flying ,the Annecy airport will welcome as soon as 2008 business air travel to release Geneva from a part of its traffic.
